First off, Josh is my brother and i understand that fact probably makes me biased. But other than alot of foot stomping and a couple of face skimming kicks, i don't see any other reason why Fernandez won the decision against Josh at clash 11. I'm just curious: Does anyone else feel the same way i do about this? Josh landed alot of punches standing up and took Eric down numerous times. And reguardless of him being my brother i think he won the fight.

Bubba i hear you bro. however when it comes to the mma game there are pretty much 4 areas of the fight. Theres the stand up or outside game, the clinch game, the ground game and the submission game. in my opinion, Josh dominated the the transition between the clinch and the ground. i think he competed well on the stand up but eric was more clean and acurate during lulls, ie head kicks from way outside. when eric got takedowns or even thows he won for sure. but when he got down he was controlled and stopped from doing any damage. this cause the ref to stand ya back up. if josh would have dominated the ground and pound then he would have won that fight. since eric won the stand up and the clinch and josh the throws only eric takes the win. i would have been happy with a draw. its just how i saw it but its part of getting better. you fight guys that are good and well rounded. see how you match up and learn from your experience. josh is awesome and he takes good fights. you're kickin some butt too bro so keep it up

I see what you're sayin man. And the fight probably looks alot different through the cam corder too. But Josh, i've got mad respect for you for fighting the tough opponents that you take on: Craig Case, Matt Dukes, Eric Fernandez...keep improving brother. You definately kick my butt around the mat at practice lol.
